Out of Pain and on a Healthy Path

Dr. Drewry has been a passionate advocate of chiropractic care for many years. While working as a management consultant in the United States, he experienced a skiing accident that created severe injury. He sought relief by consulting with top professionals in the healthcare industry, including an evaluation at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University. He failed to improve.

After two years of searching, he decided to undergo chiropractic care. His problem was finally diagnosed correctly, and he recovered rapidly.

This powerful experience affected him profoundly. At the age of 38, Dr. Drewry left his long-time consulting profession, and enrolled in Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Although he was one of the oldest students in his class, he excelled in his studies and intensive clinical training, graduating in 2006.

A Passion for Seeing the World

Upon graduation, Dr. Drewry began to live his dream of seeing the world. He traveled to Queensland in northern Australia and practiced there for two years. His desire for travel next led him to Amsterdam. After two years of serving patients here, his next destination was to be London. He found, however, that his love for the city made it difficult for him to pack up and go. He instead made the decision to make Amsterdam his permanent residence.

The Pursuit of Clinical Excellence

Dr. Drewry is a United States national board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic. He has undergone rigorous written and clinical examinations to earn professional licensure in the United States, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the Netherlands. He is a member of the Dutch Chiropractic Federation (DCF) and the International Chiropractor’s Association (ICA).

Because Dr. Drewry has a firsthand history of frustration, confusion and disappointment associated with the healing of his own accident injury, he empathizes deeply with those suffering from similar issues. He understands what it is like to travel from doctor to doctor without obtaining answers or relief from pain.

His desire to help others suffering from the effects of injury has led him to extensive postgraduate study in this field:

• Certification in Applied Kinesiology: This certification required 100 hours of meticulous training through the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK).
• Certification in Injury Recall Technique: This advanced certification helps those suffering from the lingering effects of any type of injury. Through precise testing and treatment, the “memory” of the trauma is eliminated on a cellular level, allowing the body to heal.
